The polygraph school conducts courses for training polygraph examiners, advanced courses for training instructors and polygraph laboratory managers and enrichment courses for the general public introducing the polygraph and for understanding the accompanying ethical issues.
A polygraph examiners success is dependent on his personal skills and expertise in interpreting the situation and the person sitting opposite him. Therefore, beyond the technical aspects of the polygraph examination, much importance is placed on furnishing the tools for analysis and understanding the human factor. In order to assimilate and preserve this knowledge an experienced instructor with excellent instructional skills is required. In the advanced course for training instructors, students will be provided with the tools that would enable them to educate and teach beginner polygraph examiners. Instructional methods will be drilled; situations and cases based on the students’ experiences will be analyzed; dilemmas that the students are likely to face will be handled and practical training will be drilled.
One of the major challenges facing a polygraph laboratory manager is maintaining the reliability level of the examination results in a congested daily agenda during which a great many examinations take place. Alongside the necessity to meet congested deadlines, laboratory managers must maintain the professional level and ensure that the results of the examinations performed by the polygraph examiners reflect the truth. During the laboratory manager’s course, we will deal with these and other dilemmas that laboratory managers are likely to face. We will learn what the correct control of a polygraph laboratory is, how to conduct expertise training for beginner examiners subject to the instructions of the Israeli and American polygraph associations. We will learn the features of quality control and deal with many other issues from the rich experience of the school’s lecturing staff as laboratory managers at private and Israel Police institutions.

Familiarity with the tool, its advantages and limitations, would assist professionals, who require this tool. When is it proper to use it? How to exploit the tool for the benefit of yourself or of the organization that employs you?
During the course, we will deal with these and other questions. We will understand the scientific theory of the polygraph and learn how the apparatus operates. We will understand and analyze relevant legal aspects. We will also study the various methods for using the polygraph apparatuses and familiarize ourselves with its limitations.
