The study goals

To provide students with the tools and practical and academic knowledge required for becoming a polygraph examiner. Students will become familiar with the polygraph apparatuses and will know how to operate them. They will experiment with questioning and will be exposed to the various techniques for performing polygraph examinations. Within the framework of the studies, emphasis will be placed on in-depth learning of the fundamental and necessary skills for an examiner in every possible situation.

The target community

Psychology or criminology graduates interested in a career in polygraph in the private, public or state framework.

BA graduates from recognized academic establishments who wish to change the professions.

Investigators and owners of investigation offices, retirees from the IDF, police, military police investigation and general state security, security supervises, human resources, inspection and monitoring in institutions, private, public and government organizations .

Venue

The Israeli polygraph examiner course takes place in the school facility in the central area.

International courses are conducted at the school facility in Israel or at a suitable facility in the particular country in pursuance of an advance agreement.

Terms and conditions for acceptance

The function of a polygraph examiner requires a verification of high morality, a suitable education, high analytical capability and experience in interpersonal relations.

In order to guarantee the suitability of the course graduates, the school will only accept candidates who comply with the following conditions:Candidates must be 21 or older; they must have an undergraduate degree from a recognized institution with average grades of not less than 70, they must have verified high morality (this will be checked during the classification stage).

Terms of payment

The study fees include all the study equipment required including the polygraph equipment, notebooks for summarizing lectures, free use of the school library and consultation meetings at any time with the institution’s lecturers. Residential facilities and transport to classes of are not included in the study fees. However, should this be necessary, the institutions personnel will assist students in to find residential facilities close to the school at reasonable prices and under convenient terms.

The full tuition fee must be paid by the date of commencement of studies

Refunds of the study fee for registration cancellations will be according to the following conditions:

For14 days after the registration, students can give notice in writing of canceling the registration. Thereafter, the fees will be refunded in full.

In the case of expulsions or dropping out of the course, the fees for the period up to the date of expulsions or cessation will be deducted from the refund.

The school will publish the date of the commencement of courses from time to time.

A basic training course during which we will provide students with the practical and study tools enabling them to become fully-fledged polygraph examiners. Students will be practically familiar with the polygraph apparatuses; they will study and drill interrogation methods during polygraph examinations and will be exposed to the various techniques for performing polygraph examinations. The course will place an emphasis on in-depth studies of the basic necessary skills for an examiner in every possible situation.
